EMPOWAVE is a Lebanese association founded in 2022 that works to empower and develop youth and women to integrate them more into their communities and prevent their exploitation in all circumstances.
PROGRAM SECTORS AND ACTIVITIES

— Youth developments
Our goal is to enhance economic well-being and empower individuals to rebuild their livelihoods, fostering resilience. We provide a range of vocational training programs for both females and males, covering topics aligned with market needs. Following training, participants are either connected to job opportunities or assisted with small grants, guided by experts, to establish income-generating businesses.

Empowering women is crucial for societal development, as their productivity contributes to happier families, healthier communities, and sustainable economies. Recognizing the dynamic nature of the market, our focus lies in offering programs that keep women informed about new tools. This ensures their awareness and adaptability to the ever-changing market trends and technological advancements.

Advocacy is a powerful tool for creating positive change, influencing policies, and addressing critical issues. By identifying problems within our youth community, analyzing market needs, and clearly defining desired outcomes, we have decided to focus our efforts on addressing the most pressing issues in our community.

Jihad Anis Ahmad, 23-year-old
Holding a BT certificate in networking from the AUC Institute, turned his passion for technology into a thriving career. His breakthrough came when he joined the Empowave project, where he excelled in an advanced ethical hacking and cybersecurity course.
