Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking Upskilling Project

Building the Next Generation of Cybersecurity Professionals

The Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking Upskilling Project is funded by PSF and implemented by EMPOWAVE to equip 24 university students with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to pursue successful careers in the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity.

As digital technologies continue to transform every aspect of society, the demand for qualified cybersecurity professionals is increasing. This six-month training program is designed to bridge the gap between academic education and labor market needs by providing participants with industry-relevant knowledge, hands-on experience, and exposure to real-world cybersecurity challenges.

Project Objectives

The project aims to:

  • Enhance the technical capabilities of university students in cybersecurity.
  • Develop practical ethical hacking and penetration testing skills.
  • Increase awareness of cyber threats and digital security best practices.
  • Prepare participants for careers in cybersecurity and information security.
  • Improve graduates’ employability by providing market-oriented technical training.

Training Components

Cybersecurity

Participants will gain a solid foundation in:

Ethical Hacking

The ethical hacking component introduces participants to professional security testing methodologies, including:

Training Methodology
